Consent & Participation

1. Consent to process personal information

By ticking the consent box when you sign up, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy and you freely give your consent, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, for Pickle Pro World to collect, use, store and share your personal information for the purposes described there, namely running your account, bookings, payments, Open Play, tournaments, rankings and community features.

2. Sensitive personal information (government IDs)

When an event requires identity or age verification and you upload a government ID image, you consent to it being viewed only by authorized organizers and staff to verify your eligibility, and kept only as long as needed for that event and any dispute about it. Uploading an ID is voluntary, but some categories cannot be joined without verification.

3. Players under 18

If the player is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give this consent on the player's behalf. By ticking the guardian box, you confirm you are the player's parent or legal guardian, you agree to the Terms & Conditions for the player, and you consent to the processing described above.

4. Public sports information

You understand that your name, profile photo, ratings, rankings, team and club names, match scores and results are shown on public rankings, brackets and live boards, because that is how competitive play works.

5. Photos, video and live streams

Venues and organizers may photograph, record or live stream matches and events, and publish event photos in tournament galleries. If you do not want to appear in published photos, tell the organizer at the event or email support@pickleproworld.com and we will remove identifiable photos of you from Pickle Pro World.

6. Participation and assumption of risk

You confirm that you are physically fit to play, that you take part in pickleball activities voluntarily and at your own risk of injury, and that you will follow venue safety rules and organizer instructions. This does not release anyone from liability that cannot be waived under Philippine law, such as liability for fraud, bad faith or gross negligence.

7. AI assistant

If you use the on-site assistant, you consent to your question being sent to Google's Gemini service to generate an answer. Do not type personal or sensitive information into it.

8. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@pickleproworld.com. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some features, such as tournament entry that requires verification. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.
